The Emancipation of Mimi has already gone straight to the top of the chart in America earning her a 16th number 1 record - it's extremely likely that it will do the same over here and head straight for the top.
New single
We Belong Together is a tour de force for Mariah's beautiful voice. Musically, it's a very simple yet beautiful piano-led ballad, but Mariah's voice really takes this record into the stratosphere. Her vocal range really is breathtaking and may even give you a few goosebumps. Lyrically, this is also a incredibly well-written track, destined to leave the audience in awe when she performs it at the Hyde Park Live 8 gig on Saturday.
